Ku-ring-gai Mayor Jennifer Anderson usually purchases an art work from the KAS Awards Exhibition to become a part of the Ku-ring-gai Council’s art collection. 

This year Jennifer Anderson is happy to purchase another work for the collection.

Dear Exhibiting Member

If you would like one of your works to be considered for selection for the Mayor’s Award please follow the procedures below.  

1 Take a good photo of your work and email it to ThomasinGraham@bigpond.com

2 Closing date 30 November 2020.

3 The types of art work normally chosen are, those that reflect something of life in Ku-ring-gai, or that are particularly Australian in theme.

4  Limit of one entry per member.

5 Art works must be the original unaided work of the artist.  Not copies.

6 Artists must be financial exhibiting members of KAS.

7 The art work must never have been exhibited in any previous exhibitions.

8 The artist agrees to the work being reproduced for promotional purposes.

9 The artist may have to take the art work to the Mayor’s office for a final selection.
