Social Membership: $60 / year
All new Members are initially registered as Social Members. Social members may then qualify for Exhibitor membership ($70/yr) by submitting their works for evaluation. Evaluation sessions are conducted twice a year.
Social Members may participate in all events within the Society, including workshops and studio visits. However, they are excluded from submitting works for all exhibitions until they have achieved Exhibiting Membership.
Social members are able to hold certain positions on the committee.
You can apply for membership online clicking the button below. Upon receipt of your form, your application will be processed at the next Committee Meeting. These take place on the last Monday of the month.
If you are not acquainted with any members, we would like to invite you to attend a meeting or two with a view to getting to know members and the KAS Secretary who can validate your application. Alternatively please contact the KAS Secretary directly.

With a membership now totalling more than 250, the Society encourages the advancement of thought and creativity in art and is continually attracting new members to its ranks from all walks of life.

Evaluation and Intake for Exhibiting Membership is normally in April and October each year. Check this website for dates.
The Social member submits 5 works for evaluation by the Intake Committee.
