New Online Entry System for KAS September Spring Exhibition

How it Works!

Dear KAS Members,

In the past few months, your KAS Committee and Web Team and Exhibition Team have been testing and working on the final phase of our Exhibition Online Entry System.

I am pleased to announce the new system will be launched for the upcoming Spring Exhibition, September 14th to 27th. Access to the Online entry will be available to Exhibiting Members via the KAS Website.

We encourage all Exhibiting Members to use the new Online entry system, from our own recent practical experience it is much easier and quicker than using the existing Manual Form process. In addition, it saves much time and effort for our Exhibition Team in preparing and setting up the Exhibition.

The existing Manual Form entry system will remain in place for those Exhibiting Members who are unable to use the Online system and will run in parallel with it. You will still download the form, and email or post it to the KAS Secretary for further manual processing. You will make separate payment to the KAS Treasurer by Credit Card or Cheque.

A few Guidelines on preparing and navigating the New Online Exhibition Entry System.

• Access:
  • Exhibiting Members logon to the KAS website, on your dashboard click box for Spring Exhibition Entry Form.
  • Or on the KAS Home Page top menu bar, select the “Activities Button” then “Spring Exhibition’.
  • The Roster Schedule link is under the “Activities” button.
  • The Manual Entry Form will also be under the “Activities “Button.
  • Entries will be open from this Thursday 16^th July, and will close on Friday 14^th August 20.
• Before you start:
  • Secure your Roster Shift registrations by calling Kathy Smoker, (0439 653 763). You will need to enter your Roster Booking Number (RBN) on the entry form.
  • Agreement to Terms and Conditions of KAS Exhibition Entry. These are similar to past exhibitions. Agreement is required on the entry form. They can be viewed on the website under the “Activities “button.
  • Credit Card on hand for entry payment.
• Payment Options
  • When entry is completed you can pay directly online with your Credit Card, or with PayPal account if you have one.
    • Your entry is then submitted and is complete.
    • You will receive a confirming email with your entry details.
  • You may elect to pay by Direct Deposit or by Cheque.
    • Your entry is then submitted and is complete, subject to you completing the payment within 3 business days.
    • You will receive a confirming email with your entry details.

• Other Features
  • You may stop and return later to the entry form; you will receive an email link to return to complete your form.
  • The system will automatically limit you to:
    • 30 characters for Artwork Title.
    • Artwork price to be $200 plus.
    • Maximum overall perimeter for all submitted artworks to be 8M.
    • If the system stops you moving on, then check the above.
  • You may nominate another person to collect your Artworks.
  • You may nominate how you are paid for a successful sale.
  • For Tax Status, you may nominate as a hobby, or as a business with ABN.
  • For security reasons, only Exhibiting Members can access online the Entry Form and the Roster Schedule.
  • On request, The KAS Secretary will email the Manual Entry form to those Exhibiting members who are unable to log onto the KAS website.
