Create lifelike portraits in watercolour
Learn or develop your portrait painting skills with Dee Jackson, our KAS President.
In this workshop I will show watercolour painting techniques and work with each student to create a portrait – cat/dog/bird/person.
You will learn how to create life-like portraits using photographs or digital images as reference material, although some life sketching will be required.
We will have fun and realise that all painting is just observation – looking at Shadows (Value) and Shapes (Proportion).
This is all great fun and an exciting challenge for beginners and the more experienced
- Advanced students may be able to create at least 2 paintings;
- While beginners will have the chance to create one painting and develop their own watercolour style.
