Have you lost your “Mojo?”
For those artists who want to loosen up, experiment with acrylics, mediums and textures, and put energy and fresh ideas into their artwork. Pamela through demonstrating and individual guidance will show you how to develop ideas based on drawing and research. It is for the individual artist to push through to expressing themselves in contemporary mediums and methods. There will also be emphasis on experimentation with a variety of textural materials and effects. Exciting drawing techniques to free you up will be incorporated into this program. Subject matter will include Landscape and Abstract.
Positive group evaluations and individual appraisals will be provided.
Pamela’s positive approach will ensure that participants will enjoy and learn in a friendly exciting atmosphere, and take home with them new skills and creative insights to help in the evolution of their own creative journey.

Introduction and cuppa!
Demonstration: Drawing on the “Wild Side”. Some loosening up drawing.
2 mixed media drawings based on photos you brought.
Demo on Collage and Acrylic.
Lunch.
Afternoon
Painting the Essence of your Landscape using variety of tools and materials.
Experimentation with colour, composition, texture and line.
Stretch your Boundaries Landscape Painting.

Clean-up
Find the ‘Essence and the Energy of your subject’ and put the “Mojo” or Magic back into painting!

Pamela Fairburn is a Sydney watercolour and mixed media artist who has been working in the Visual Arts and Art Education arena for over 40 years. She is founder of the Woodford Bay Art Group, Sydney. She lives, paints and teaches in Longueville, NSW. Pamela has been involved in numerous group and solo exhibitions and her paintings and won many awards and prizes.
In her art workshops and classes she encourages her group to follow a creative path with much emphasis on experimentation and individual expression. Her teaching methods are always positive and informative, and there is a sense of Fun and Creative Energy within her art workshops and painting tours
Love of Travel and her knowledge in Art History combine with her painting expertise and tutoring.
