At the St Ives Shopping Village Gallery on the Ramps, St Ives local schools 9 x 5 Project – Artwork Exhibition, on 31st August – 18th September 2015.
Year 9 Students from St Ives High School became art teachers guiding and instructing year 5 students from partner schools: St Ives Primary School, St Ives Park Primary School, St Ives North Primary School, Sir Eric Woodward Primary School, and Terrey Hills Primary School.
The 9×5 Project has seen students emulate the impressionist artists of the 1980’s painting on their own 9″
x 5″ boards images of landscapes from our local area. Their techniques reflect the spontaneous and fleeting style characteristic of this group.
